What's truly noteworthy is that despite a 50% reduction in footprint at a mere 2.4 mm², the C8 series retains the high performance of its C7 predecessors. The RV-8063-C8 and RV-8263-C8, with SPI and I²C bus interfaces respectively, represent the epitome of standalone nano-power (190 nA) timekeeping functions on your PCB when size is crucial.


RV-8063-C8: Embodying Miniaturisation and Efficiency

The RV-8063-C8 emerges as an ultra-small CMOS real-time clock/calendar module designed for low power consumption and optimised for high volume, cost-sensitive applications. It incorporates an offset register, compensating for any frequency deviation of the 32.768 kHz clock. Furthermore, the SPI-bus interface enables a rapid data transfer rate of up to 7 Mbit/s.
