The STMicroelectronics ST25RU3993-BQFT is a single-chip, multi-protocol Ultra High Frequency (UHF) RFID reader device. It operates in the RAIN® (UHF) RFID band (840–960 MHz) and is compatible with multiple standards, including ISO18000-63 (EPC Gen2). Housed in a 48-pin QFN package, this device is designed for portable and battery-powered equipment, offering very low-power consumption, high sensitivity, and strong immunity to antenna reflection. It integrates an on-chip VCO and power amplifier, making it easy to build a complete RFID reader system with only an external 8-bit microcontroller.
