Epson’s S1D13524 is a high performance colour EPD controller for next generation E Ink active matrix panels, supporting colour resolutions up to 2560 x 2048 at 85 Hz and large monochrome panels up to 8000 x 8000 with up to 4 bit greyscale. It integrates a programmable colour processor with CFA and dithering support, multi regional update and rotation functions, external 16 or 32 bit LP DDR / SDRAM interface, SPI flash and I2C thermal sensor support, all in a 241 ball 11 mm x 11 mm TFBGA package with 0.65 mm pitch for use with external PMICs in high resolution, high frame rate ePaper designs.
