The SIMCom A7672 series is an LTE Cat 1 module based on the ASR1603 platform, supporting LTE-FDD, LTE-TDD, GSM, GPRS, and EDGE communication modes with data rates up to 10 Mbps downlink and 5 Mbps uplink. Featuring an LCC+LGA package, it is pin-compatible with SIM7000/SIM7070 (NB-IoT/Cat M) and SIM800 (2G) modules, simplifying migration to LTE Cat 1. The module supports multiple network protocols, USB drivers for Windows, Linux, and Android, and AT command compatibility with SIM800. With optional BLE and GNSS functions and interfaces including UART, USB, I2C, and GPIO, the A7672 series suits IoT applications such as telematics, POS terminals, security systems, industrial routers, and remote diagnostics.
