Doom

Doom is a pioneering first-person shooter video game released in 1990. Developed by id Software and published by Bethesda Softworks, the game puts the player in the shoes of a marine who has to fight off hordes of monsters in order to escape from a Martian moon base. The game has become iconic for its revolutionary use of 3D graphics, its intense and immersive gameplay, and its intense violence, which has made it one of the most influential video games of all time. Ineltek has featured a demo of Doom running on our Raspberry Pico boards at several exhibitions and we give you everything you need to recreate this for yourself, here.
